Fantasy players
Start-sit calls with the usage data behind them
Snap shares, air yards, depth charts and injury status — the leading indicators, not last week's box score.
Fantasy decisions are made on production, which lags. Usage leads it, and usage is the part most sites bury.
What to build
Catch a role change early
Snap share moves before production does. Pull it by week and watch the trend rather than the fantasy points.
Separate volume from efficiency
Air yards and target share say what the offence intends; yards after catch says what the player did with it. Two receivers with the same line can be doing different jobs.
Injury and matchup planning
Practice status by week alongside the schedule, to plan a bye or a streamer two weeks out.
What it will not do
- No projections and no rankings. This is usage and outcome, not advice.
- Injury status is the official report, which is often deliberately vague.
